EQUIPMENT:
The Mindo area has temperatures that oscillate between the 18 and 24ºC (64.4 and 75.2ºF).

We recommend bringing:
- hiking boots or shoes,
- insect repellent,
- sunblock,
- a flashlight,
- binoculars (for bird-watching).

CURRENCY:
The official currency of Ecuador is the U.S. dollar.
It's best to bring bills of low denominations, since those of 50 and up are extremely difficult to change. The town of Mindo does not have an ATM.
