Mindo is found 84 km (52 miles) west of Quito, on the new highway to the coast: Calacali - La Independencia. Twenty minutes beyond Nanegalito on that road, there is a large sign that clearly indicates the entrance to the town.

From there, visitors must descend 7 km (4.3 miles) along a curve-filled road before arriving at the heart of the town. Mindo Garden is found 4 km (2.5 miles) from town along the road to the Mariposario (butterfly house).

The inn is practically at the end of the road and thus easily found.
