MINDO TREKKING (3 Days, 2 Nights)

DAY 1
09:30 A.M. We will pick you up at 9:30 A.M. in your hotel in Quito.
12:00 A.M. Arrival to Mindo Gardens
01:00 P.M. Lunch from the menu.
02:00 P.M. Two-hour hike on our private lands. We will introduce you to the cloud forest and its incredible diversity in birds and plants.
05:30 P.M. We Would visit the mariposario (butterfly house) where you can enjoy the magic of life in colorful butterflies.
07:00 P.M. Dinner from the menu. After that, you can simply rest or enjoy our bar, play a game of pool or relax by watching a movie or reading a book in our living room.
DAY 2
06:30 A.M. Breakfast.
07:30 A.M. We will do a hike of approximately three hours on our property. Here we will be able to observe the surprising variety of local birds, and we will penetrate the cloud forest, where we will also be able to see the characteristic flora of the area.
The walk will take us directly to the canopy, where we will end by crossing the forest on approximately 13 cables stretched between the giant tree tops.
After the canopy, our vehicle will be waiting to take us to Mindo Garden, where we will have a well-deserved lunch.
01:00 P.M. Lunch from the menu.
03:00 P.M. Just 1 kilometer (.62 mile) from Mindo Garden, inner-tubing on the Mindo River awaits us. Here, depending on the season, we will be able to float for approximately 30 minutes down this exciting river.
07:00 P.M. Dinner from the menu.
DAY 3
06:30 A.M. Breakfast.
07:00 A.M. We will take a three-hour trek on which we will visit lovely waterfalls, have the opportunity to bathe in the crystalline waters of the Nambillo River, and ride the “tarabita”, which is a cable car that crosses the sub-tropical forest at a height of 150 meters (nearly 500 feet), offering a truly spectacular view.
12:00 A.M. Check out. Lunch and transfer to Quito.
